Major order. Skoda Group, in fact, will carry out the major trolleybus project in Genoa, being chosen by Solaris Bus & Coach as the supplier of complete traction equipment for the 112 18-meter articulated trolleybuses destined for the Ligurian city.

Due to this partnership, Skoda will not only produce the traction devices, but also install them in the vehicles and test them. The traction equipment for the Genoa trolley buses will include traction batteries with a capacity of 81 kWh, which will allow extended operation of the vehicles off the catenary. The complete package also includes automatic current collectors or advanced diagnostics.
